This beautiful West Town brewery is family AND dog friendly. They claim to have beer flavored beer. You would have to ask our owner if there is any truth to this proclamation. The best part of Midwest Coast Brewing is you can BYOF (Bring Your Own Food!). Farm to Pet attended vendor events last year at their location including the Dog Friendly Market. Stay tuned for many more pet friendly events at our favorite Chicago brewery.
The Montrose Dog Beach is Chicago's first legal off-leash beach. Located on the Northwest corner of Montrose Beach, this area is fenced and offers free dog waste bags and a dog-wash area. Montrose Dog Beach is open during all regular Chicago Park District hours, but morning hours are the most popular. Montrose Dog Beach is free, but DFA tags are required for all dogs. Our owner’s pup, Rooney, loves to frequent the dog beach here!
Pets are welcome to play off-leash at this busy dog park located within Wicker Park. There's plenty to do in this fenced-in area, where dogs can socialize and meet other like-minded hounds. They have doggie water fountains to help hydrate your pooch.
Skinner Bark Park is located in the West Loop. It is a multidimensional dog park. Artificial turf, cement, and pea gravel feature textural differences in the romping area and the three-tier drinking fountains cater to dogs of all sizes. Farm to Pet collaborated with Samoyeds of Chicago to supply treats for a few of their summer meet-ups at the park. The dogs LOVED the kiddie pools filled with water in the summer Chicago heat!
