Small Business Saturday is about celebrating the dedicated small businesses across the USA. We support these shops, stores, owners, and retailers on Small Business Saturday.  Check out several of our favorite holiday gifts for dogs. Shopping season is stressful and we hope to help check some of the pup presents off of your list.

New York Small Business - Boogs & Boop

Chelsie was very devoted to her fur baby, Isles, so much so that she created her small business Boogs & Boop in 2022.  She was determined to create fashion forward and budget friendly dog accessories.  Her mission was to share her profound love of dogs with everyone. This small business is located in Brooklyn, NY where all of their products are designed. They are a woman-owned and operated company.

Give Back

In this area, Boogs & Boop supports the wider dog community and pups in need.  Chelsie's small business strives to make a tangible difference, contributing both financially and through volunteering to causes via Boops for Good that resonate with her unwavering love for dogs with every creation and purchase, .

Holiday Favorites

When you purchase any of her harnesses, leashes, collars or matching pet parent accessories they give back to dogs and pets in need and supports a small business. Many of Chelsie's toys are very adorable, but this is our favorite!

NUTRITION FOR YOUR PETS

Not only do they focus on the health of humans around them, Route of Healthy Living also wants your dogs to be eating and snacking with the best by supporting our small business. We couldn't agree more with their view on single ingredient treats.  “We want you to read the ingredient label of your furbaby’s treats. How many ingredients are on there? When looking for the tastiest and healthiest treat options for your companion, you want to look for treats that contain only ONE ingredient and for the ULTIMATE taste experience that one ingredient should be a high protein source.”

Small businesses grow while building relationships with their customers and other small businesses in their community. When you choose to shop locally this holiday season, you are not just making a transaction; you are investing in a relationship. Owners, employees, and staff members feel a sense of community when you purchase from them. These small businesses are more likely to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction, fostering a strong bond that goes beyond a simple buyer-seller relationship. Shopping at these establishments is not just a transaction; it's an investment in building a vibrant and connected community.
