As a veterinarian I recommend deer antlers because they’re a more natural chew option compared to many synthetic or plastic alternatives.

What I like about split antlers specifically is that they expose the marrow, so dogs can access that nutritional component without needing to apply as much force as they would with a whole antler. That can make them a better option for many dogs, especially those that enjoy chewing but aren’t extremely aggressive.

Chewing antlers helps support dental health by naturally scraping the teeth, and it gives dogs a really good outlet for enrichment and mental engagement.

That said, chew choice should always come down to the individual dog. Knowing your dog’s chewing style is really important, and supervision is key with any chew to help reduce the risk of injury or swallowing larger pieces.

About 3 1/2 years ago I was in search of a quality treat for my Cockapoo with food sensitivities.  In my research online I came across Farm to Pet 100% Chicken treats.  I knew my puppy could tolerate chicken so I gave it a try.  He loved them and never had a negative gut reaction.  I love how crisp they are and could be easily broken into small pieces for training. Then a year later we rescued a pure bred Cocker Spaniel with skin and food allergies.  She immediately loved the Chicken and Turkey treats and they have been perfect for her.  Although their Dad, “the candy man”, probably goes a little overboard on the treat rewards, we are totally confident our two pets are getting quality treats.  Farm to Pet chips are the only treats we will buy!

My furry baby's name is Jopper and he has the biggest personality of any dog I've ever had.  When I go to his treat jars he can tell by the sound which treat jar I'm opening.  When I open the jar that has his farm to pet chips in it he absolutely starts yodeling and howling because he knows what I'm getting for him. It happens every time and I still get tickled at his reaction to the chips.  He loves them so much that he actually sings for them.  Keep them coming because my Jopper loves them.
