We all love our pups and wish we could take them everywhere, but sadly, not many places allow pups in their stores. Typically, pet stores are dog friendly like PetSmart, Petco, and local pet supply shops typically welcome dogs. There are also human stores that let your pup join in on the fun! Many outdoor and sporting goods stores allow dogs, especially if they sell gear for outdoor activities with your pup (i.e. Bass Pro Shops and REI).
Check out a few stores below:

Home Depot is a great spot to take your pup! So many smells indoor/outdoor, PLUS picking up some home improvement items at the same time?! Sign us up! Some other home improvement stores, such as Lowe's and Menards, are dog-friendly. They often provide water bowls and treats for canine visitors.
Sephora is known for the beauty and glamour of cosmetics and skin care, but did you know your pup can come too? Bring your pup next time so they can help you figure out which shade of foundation is right for you!
BOOKS AND DOGS! Can you name a better combo? Barnes & Noble is dog friendly, but they do ask you keep your pup away from the café.
Some independent bookstores and smaller chains are also known to allow well-behaved, quiet (shh!) dogs. What better way to spend the day than browsing books and brining your pup along with!
Teach your pup how to be a TJMaxx fan (and show them where you get all their toys) by bringing your pup to TJMaxx! Majority of TJMaxx locations of dog friendly, so be sure to check in with the store to make sure it is okay to bring your pup.
Nordstrom and Bloomingdale's, have a dog-friendly policy. They may even have designated dog-friendly areas within the store.
Be sure when you take your pup with you, you reward them throughout the trip with our
Chicken Chips to let them know they're doing a great job! As always, b
efore taking your dog shopping, it's crucial to confirm each store's current policy, as it can change, especially in response to local regulations or safety concerns. Additionally, make sure your dog is well-behaved, leashed, and comfortable around people, children, and other dogs when visiting these establishments.
